Rules and Regulations

**Please note that rules and regulations are subject to change without prior notice

1. Academic year runs from 6 December 2021 to 21 November 2022. Students have to complete the entire academic year to be eligible for the refundable deposit. One month notice of withdrawal should be given for deposit to be refunded. Deposit will be refunded to students who are in Primary 6, Secondary 4 N Level and Secondary 4 O level after the National examinations.
2. Submission of registration form: Please note that your child will only be considered for a place in school upon receipt of first month fees, deposit and material fees of S$________ which is non-refundable.
3. Registration Fee: There is registration fee of $30 is payable for new students which is non- refundable. Students who have withdrawn from the centre must pay the $20 if they would like to rejoin the centre.
4. Deposit Payable: There is a deposit payable of $50 which will be returned upon completion of the enrichment/tuition. Should you wish to withdraw your child before the end date (year-end), you will need to provide a notice of withdrawal and give a month’s notice. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in a forfeit of deposit.
5. Rules and Regulations: The rules of the centre will be final. Personal requests will not be entertained.
6. Intellectual Property: Students and parents are prohibited from copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing or transmitting in any form or by any means of any of Future Genius Learning Planet’s curriculum. Future Genius Learning Planet may copy, reproduce, distribute and use any work/ material produced by the students as part of the registered course.
7. Valuables: Please do not allow your child to bring toys, trinkets, sweets, jewelry and other items to the centre. These items are often lost, broken or ‘borrowed’, causing distress to the child.
8. Contact with Teachers/Management: Parents are requested to make an appointment whenever necessary to discuss the child’s progress or any other matter. Please be mindful that once lessons have started, the staff need to focus on the children. Parents are to share their concerns with the principal Mr Felix Sim at 9755 7240 before approaching the tutors.
9. School Fees: School fees are charged for every 4 lessons. Your child will be given an envelope and payment must be made within the week of the 1st lesson. We take payment of fees seriously. If payment is not received within the week of the 1st lesson, there will be an additional $20 charged for late payment. We seek your kind cooperation. Cheques can be made payable to Future Genius Learning Centre Pte Ltd.
10. Dismissal of pupils from centre: The centre has the rights to terminate your child from the classes if he/she does not attend 2 lessons in a row without valid reasons, unruly behaviour or behaviour that impedes his/her learning.
11. Holidays: The centre will inform you of its closure in advance. We will function during public holidays except on major holidays such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas. During School holidays, we will still function in March and September. We will have a week’s closure in June and will be closed for 2 weeks in November. Our curriculum is on-going throughout the year. Pupils will attend lessons as usual during the school holidays.
12. Going on Vacation: If your child is going on a vacation, he/she would need to submit a letter of excuse. The centre has the right to offer the place to another child if no valid reason is given for your child’s absence.
13. Absence and Illness: Please notify the centre if your child is going to be absent from class. Notification must be given at least one day in advance. Also notify the centre immediately if your child has contracted, or is suspected of having any contagious infection or disease. Kindly keep your child away from centre until he/she is fit and deemed no longer infectious by a registered practitioner. *Please note that your child is entitled to a maximum of 4 make-up lessons in a year. If your child confirms a make-up class and is unable to attend it, there will be no additional make-up lessons. Make-up lessons must be attended in the same week as the missed lesson. There will be no refund for missed lessons. 
14. No Valid Reason for Absence: If no valid reason is given for your child’s absence, there will be no make-up class and the missed lesson will be chargeable.
15. Medication: Medication will not be administered to your child.
16. Safety of Students: While Future Genius Learning Planet will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our students, Future Genius Learning Planet assumes no liability for personal injury, loss or damage to property which may be sustained by our students in their registered course in our premises.
17. Changes in particulars: It is the responsibility of the parent to notify the centre in writing about changes in the child’s particulars immediately for prompt updating. The centre will not be held responsible for any consequences as a result of incorrect particulars.
18. Future Genius Learning Planet has the right to publish the photographs of your child and his/her academic results and written work in their registered courses. Information published will be related to education matters in the centre and for advertising purposes.
